Scheduling and channels

The composer

One post has one video (or photo), one caption and any number of channels. Each platform's own options sit right under the caption:

Platform Takes Options
Instagram Reels, photos Also share to feed
Facebook Pages Videos, photos Caption only
TikTok Videos Privacy level, comments, duet, stitch, branded content disclosure
YouTube Shorts (vertical or square, up to 3 minutes) Title, visibility, made for kids

Limits are checked before you schedule, not after it fails: file type and size, duration, photo aspect ratio for Instagram (4:5 to 1.91:1), caption length and hashtag counts.

Files

  • Videos: MP4 or MOV, up to 10 minutes; size up to your plan's largest upload.
  • Photos: JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB (stored as JPEG).
  • Files live in a private bucket in the EU and are deleted 30 days after their last post went out.

The queue and the calendar

The queue is a departures board per day: what leaves next, what went out (with a link) and what was delayed and why. The calendar shows a month of posts as 9:16 posters. Edit or cancel a post any time until it starts publishing.

When something fails

Network hiccups and platform outages are retried automatically with growing pauses. If a platform refuses a post (for example a daily posting limit), the board shows a red delay note with the platform, the reason and what to do, and the post's author gets an email. A channel whose sign-in expired shows Reconnect.

Connecting channels

  • Instagram: choose Continue with Instagram in Meta's sign-in and pick the account. It has to be a Creator or Business account (switch in the Instagram app). Accounts in a Meta business portfolio can also come through Continue with Facebook.
  • Facebook: sign in and pick the Pages reelport.io may post to.
  • TikTok: sign in and allow posting.
  • YouTube: sign in with the Google account that owns the channel.

Each connected account takes one channel slot on your plan.
